Reasonable Use Policy

Last Updated: August 14, 2026

  1. Purpose

This Reasonable Use / Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) applies to your use of Telvatec Connect and the international calling and communications services provided by TELVATEC LLC (“Telvatec,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).  Telvatec Connect is designed primarily for lawful, ordinary individual international calling.  This Policy helps protect Telvatec customers, telecommunications networks, service providers, and the integrity, security, and availability of Telvatec Connect.  This Policy forms part of and should be read together with the Telvatec Terms of Service.

  1. Reasonable Use

You may use Telvatec Connect for normal, lawful individual international calling in accordance with your applicable Pay-As-You-Go or Global Pass product.  Usage may be considered unreasonable, excessive, fraudulent, or abusive when it materially differs from ordinary individual calling activity or indicates use inconsistent with the intended purpose of the Service.

In evaluating usage, Telvatec may consider factors including:

  • Unusually high call frequency or volume.
  • Repeated short-duration calls or other abnormal calling patterns.
  • Continuous or unusually long calling activity.
  • An unusually high number of unique destinations within a limited period.
  • Multiple simultaneous or overlapping calling sessions.
  • Calling patterns inconsistent with ordinary individual use.
  • Automated or artificially generated traffic.
  • Repeated account, device, payment, or subscription activity associated with suspected fraud or circumvention.
  • Use patterns that create unusual network, security, financial, regulatory, or carrier risk.

Telvatec does not rely solely on any single usage threshold when determining whether activity violates this Policy. High usage by itself does not necessarily constitute a violation.

Telvatec may establish, modify, and apply reasonable operational safeguards, fraud-prevention controls, usage thresholds, or network-management measures where necessary to protect customers, telecommunications networks, service providers, and Telvatec.

Such safeguards may vary based on the applicable product, destination, network conditions, fraud risk, security considerations, carrier requirements, and other legitimate operational factors.

  1. Prohibited Uses

You may not use or attempt to use Telvatec Connect or any Telvatec Service to:

  • Violate applicable laws or regulations.
  • Commit, facilitate, or attempt fraud.
  • Engage in unlawful robocalling, autodialing, or automated calling.
  • Operate a call center, telemarketing operation, calling-card business, or similar commercial calling operation unless expressly authorized by Telvatec.
  • Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit Telvatec Services without Telvatec’s written authorization.
  • Generate artificial, manipulated, or fraudulent telecommunications traffic.
  • Use telecommunications traffic primarily to generate compensation, rebates, commissions, revenue sharing, or other financial benefits.
  • Harass, threaten, intimidate, defraud, impersonate, or abuse another person.
  • Engage in phishing, scams, identity theft, or other deceptive practices.
  • Unlawfully manipulate, falsify, or spoof caller identification information.
  • Attempt to avoid applicable calling charges or other payment obligations.
  • Circumvent Global Pass eligibility requirements, destination restrictions, calling restrictions, billing controls, geographic restrictions, account limitations, or security measures.
  • Share an account among unrelated users for the purpose of avoiding applicable charges, subscription requirements, or product restrictions.
  • Create or operate multiple accounts to improperly obtain promotional benefits or circumvent restrictions.
  • Access or attempt to access another customer’s account without authorization.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, probe, overload, attack, or compromise Telvatec systems or telecommunications networks.
  • Introduce malware, malicious code, or other harmful technology into Telvatec systems.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive source code from Telvatec Connect except where applicable law expressly permits such activity.

  1. Global Pass Use

Global Pass products are intended for eligible international calling consistent with the product information presented at purchase.  Unless expressly stated otherwise, a Global Pass is intended for use by the individual Telvatec account holder who purchased or activated it.

Global Pass products may not be:

  • Resold or commercially redistributed.
  • Shared among unrelated individuals for the purpose of avoiding applicable charges or product restrictions.
  • Used to operate a call center, telemarketing operation, or other commercial calling operation unless expressly authorized by Telvatec.
  • Used for automated, artificially generated, manipulated, or fraudulent calling traffic.
  • Used to circumvent Pay-As-You-Go charges, destination restrictions, eligibility requirements, or other product limitations.
  • Manipulated to obtain calling benefits for destinations, carriers, or telephone types that are not included in the applicable Global Pass.
  • Used to maintain simultaneous or overlapping calls from multiple devices or sessions through the same account unless Telvatec expressly supports or permits such functionality.

Telvatec may use reasonable technical, operational, and security controls to prevent simultaneous account usage, unauthorized account sharing, subscription abuse, fraud, or other activity inconsistent with the intended use of Global Pass.  Telvatec may investigate unusual Global Pass activity where there is a reasonable indication of fraud, automation, resale, unauthorized account sharing, circumvention, or another violation of this Policy.

  1. Fraud, Security, and Network Protection

Telvatec may use reasonable technical, operational, security, and fraud-prevention measures to identify, investigate, and prevent:

  • Account takeover.
  • Payment fraud.
  • Subscription abuse.
  • Artificial telecommunications traffic.
  • Unauthorized account use.
  • Promotional abuse.
  • Attempts to circumvent calling or billing controls.
  • Network attacks or interference.
  • Other suspicious, abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful activity.

Telvatec may temporarily restrict an account, transaction, calling feature, or Service while investigating activity that presents a reasonable fraud, security, payment, regulatory, carrier, or network risk.  Telvatec may also cooperate with telecommunications providers, payment providers, government authorities, or law enforcement where required or permitted by applicable law.

  1. Enforcement

If Telvatec reasonably determines that your account or use of the Services violates this Policy or the Telvatec Terms of Service, Telvatec may take appropriate action based on the nature and severity of the activity.

Actions may include:

  • Providing a warning.
  • Requesting additional account verification.
  • Restricting specific features.
  • Removing improperly obtained promotional benefits.
  • Blocking prohibited or fraudulent transactions.
  • Temporarily restricting calling privileges.
  • Suspending a Global Pass.
  • Suspending or terminating the applicable Service.
  • Suspending or terminating the Telvatec account.
  • Taking other reasonable measures necessary to protect customers, Telvatec, telecommunications providers, payment providers, or networks.

Where appropriate, Telvatec may provide you with an opportunity to resolve the issue before permanent account termination.  Nothing in this Policy limits Telvatec’s ability to take immediate action where reasonably necessary to prevent or respond to fraud, unlawful activity, account compromise, security threats, network harm, carrier requirements, or material financial loss.   Enforcement under this Policy does not create a right to a refund. Refund eligibility remains subject to the Telvatec Refund Policy, applicable payment-provider rules, and applicable law.
