SMS Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: August 14, 2026

  1. SMS Program

TELVATEC LLC (“Telvatec,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may send SMS text messages in connection with Telvatec Connect and related Telvatec services.

Telvatec may use SMS for transactional, authentication, security, and account-related purposes, including:

  • One-time passcodes (“OTP”).
  • Mobile number verification.
  • Login and authentication.
  • Account security alerts.
  • Account recovery.
  • Transactional notifications.
  • Customer-service communications.
  • Important service-related notices.

Message frequency varies depending on your activity, requests, and use of Telvatec Services.  Message and data rates may apply.

  1. Consent to Receive SMS Messages

When you provide your mobile number and select “Send Verification Code,” request a one-time passcode, initiate mobile number verification, or otherwise request an SMS-enabled Telvatec function, you authorize Telvatec and its service providers to send the SMS messages reasonably necessary to complete the requested function.

For example, when you request a verification code, Telvatec may send an SMS containing a one-time passcode to the mobile number you provide.  Your consent to receive an authentication, security, or transactional SMS does not constitute consent to receive unrelated marketing or promotional text messages.  Where separate consent is required for marketing or promotional SMS messages, Telvatec will obtain that consent separately.

  1. Marketing and Promotional Messages

Telvatec may offer customers the option to receive marketing or promotional SMS messages in the future.

If Telvatec offers marketing SMS communications:

  • Telvatec will obtain any consent required by applicable law before sending such messages.
  • Marketing consent will be separate from consent to receive authentication or transactional messages where required.
  • Consent to marketing SMS messages will not be a condition of purchasing Telvatec products or services where prohibited by law.
  • Message frequency will be disclosed as appropriate.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Customers will have a reasonable method to withdraw consent.

Telvatec will not treat your request for an OTP, account-verification message, or other transactional message as consent to receive unrelated marketing communications.

  1. Opt-Out

You may withdraw consent to receive applicable SMS messages at any time.  Where keyword-based opt-out is supported, reply STOP to opt out.

Telvatec or its messaging provider may also recognize standard opt-out commands, including:

  • STOP
  • STOPALL
  • UNSUBSCRIBE
  • CANCEL
  • END
  • REVOKE
  • OPTOUT
  • QUIT

Telvatec or its messaging provider may send one final confirmation message acknowledging that your opt-out request has been processed.

After you opt out, Telvatec will not send additional messages covered by that opt-out unless you subsequently provide consent again, request a message, or the communication is otherwise permitted by applicable law and applicable messaging requirements.

Opting out of marketing or promotional messages does not necessarily prevent Telvatec from sending an authentication, security, or transactional message that you specifically request or that is otherwise permitted by applicable law.  Certain Telvatec Connect functionality requires mobile number verification. If you are unable or unwilling to receive an SMS verification code, some account functions may be unavailable.

  1. Help

For assistance with Telvatec SMS messages, reply HELP where supported.

You may also contact Telvatec Customer Support at: support@telvatec.com

Telvatec may send messages using long codes, short codes, toll-free numbers, or other messaging identifiers supported by our telecommunications and messaging providers.

Available HELP and opt-out functionality may vary based on the messaging technology, country, carrier, and sender type.

  1. Mobile Number Responsibility

You represent that you are authorized to use the mobile telephone number you provide to Telvatec.  If you change, deactivate, surrender, or transfer your mobile number, you should update your Telvatec account information promptly where that functionality is available.

This helps prevent messages associated with your Telvatec account from being delivered to another person.  You are responsible for maintaining accurate mobile-number information associated with your account.

  1. Carriers and Message Delivery

SMS delivery depends on mobile carriers, messaging providers, telecommunications networks, and other systems outside Telvatec’s direct control.  Telvatec does not guarantee that every SMS message will be delivered immediately or successfully.

Message delivery may be affected by factors including:

  • Carrier availability.
  • Network conditions.
  • Device settings.
  • Roaming.
  • Telephone-number status.
  • Spam or message filtering.
  • Service interruptions.
  • Other circumstances outside Telvatec’s reasonable control.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages to the extent permitted by applicable law.

  1. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless carrier and mobile service plan.  Your wireless carrier may impose SMS, data, roaming, or other charges associated with receiving or sending text messages.  Telvatec is not responsible for charges imposed by your mobile carrier or other telecommunications provider.

  1. Privacy and Mobile Opt-In Data

Telvatec handles personal information associated with its SMS services in accordance with the Telvatec Privacy Policy.

Mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and consent information will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.  Telvatec may disclose information to service providers and subcontractors that process, transmit, deliver, secure, or support communications on Telvatec’s behalf when reasonably necessary to provide the requested messaging service.  Such service providers may use the information only as necessary to provide services to Telvatec and subject to applicable privacy, security, and contractual obligations.  Telvatec may also disclose information when required by applicable law, legal process, regulatory requirements, or as otherwise described in the Telvatec Privacy Policy.

For additional information about how Telvatec collects, uses, protects, retains, and discloses personal information, please review the Telvatec Privacy Policy.

  1. Security and One-Time Passcodes

One-time passcodes are intended to help authenticate your Telvatec account or verify your mobile number.  You should never provide a Telvatec one-time passcode to an unauthorized person.  Telvatec representatives will not ask you to provide your one-time passcode by unsolicited telephone call, email, or text message.  If you receive a verification code that you did not request or believe someone may be attempting to access your Telvatec account, do not share the code and contact Telvatec Support.

  1. Supported Services and Availability

SMS functionality may not be available through every mobile carrier, telephone number type, country, or region.

Telvatec may change the messaging provider, sender type, telephone number, short code, long code, toll-free number, or other technology used to deliver messages without affecting your underlying consent or applicable opt-out rights.  Telvatec may also suspend or discontinue a particular SMS feature where necessary because of carrier requirements, technical limitations, security concerns, regulatory requirements, or changes to Telvatec Services.

  1. Changes to These SMS Terms

Telvatec may update these SMS Terms periodically to reflect changes to:

  • Telvatec Services.
  • Messaging practices.
  • Messaging providers.
  • Carrier requirements.
  • Technology.
  • Security practices.
  • Applicable laws or regulations.

When these SMS Terms are updated, Telvatec will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.  Where required by applicable law, Telvatec will provide additional notice of material changes.

  1. Relationship to Other Telvatec Policies

These SMS Terms should be read together with the Telvatec Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.  Telvatec’s collection and handling of personal information are governed by the Privacy Policy.  Your general use of Telvatec Connect and Telvatec Services is governed by the Terms of Service.

If there is a conflict between these SMS Terms and a mandatory requirement of applicable law, the applicable legal requirement will control.
